Among the Indian communities of the 15th to 19th centuries, the Parsis were particularly open to adopting and adapting to European influences. As Portuguese, French, Dutch, and English merchants and sailors arrived in India in search of spices, a flourishing spice trade was established, leaving a lasting impact on the culture and cuisine of the Parsis. Parsi cuisine evolved into a harmonious blend of Indian spices, Persian flavors and European culinary techniques, with British cooking methods eventually reigning supreme and taking center stage. We invite you to share our table at 'Bhonu' and experience a walk down memory lane where traditional Parsi recipes meet British classics- where East meets West, dancing together in a delightful symphony of sweet, sour, and spice.
A few important things for your culinary journey: • The 6 courses will consist of eggs, seafood, meat and chicken. We also offer a vegetarian and vegan menu upon request. • If you have any food allergies, please do let me know in advance. • The experience starts once all guests have arrived so please do try and be on time. • The secret supper club commences at 7:30 PM and the experience lasts for about 2.5 hours. • The true essence of a supper club is to enjoy a meal and to meet different people. Therefore, a minimum of 4 people have to be at the table for you to get the whole experience.
