Experience Summary

Ojina Jeju is a family-run private dining space in Jeju Island, South Korea. It is at once a home, a farm, a fermentation kitchen, and a place where food is cooked with long-term care for the body.

Back home, Ojina is not operated like a conventional restaurant. The family receives guests only a few days a week, one or two tables each dinner, cooking slowly and intentionally, much like a supper club in its purest form.

Ojina’s work is guided by long-term research into how food supports the body. Their role is closer to that of ingredient researchers than chefs alone — studying how fermentation, aging, and seasonal produce affect digestion, gut health, circulation, immune strength, and overall balance. These observations are drawn from decades of practice, as well as traditions shared across Korean medicine, East Asian food culture, and other holistic systems.

For this supper club in Dubai, Ojina brings its experience exactly as it exists in Jeju. The entire family travels together to cook, serve, and host, creating a rare opportunity to experience Korean fermentation-led cuisine in its most natural form.

Throughout the evening, the family will share stories about the ingredients, their processes, and why certain foods are prepared and eaten in specific ways. This is not a lecture, but a conversation — unfolding naturally alongside the meal.
