What started as a love letter from two Chinese mothers to their third-culture kids has grown into Five Spice — a supper club celebrating authentic Chinese hospitality grounded in local soils.
For us, authenticity goes beyond sharing plates passed around the table or the traditional flavor profiles we present; it lies in the core philosophy of a balanced, nuanced Chinese meal and the subtle details that elevate the evening. Likewise, localization isn’t just about simply omitting certain ingredients from traditional recipes — it’s about preserving authenticity through mindful adaptation.
No Peking Duck, no kung fu tea, no hot pot (sorry to disappoint!). Hosted by Starry & Xini, we bring a carefully curated, narrative-rich dining experience designed to welcome you to a genuine, insider Chinese table.
